Winning with "Quality": Weijian Spray Robot Won the "Quality Star" in the Hong Kong Division of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Construction Robot Competition

On October 17th, the 2nd Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Construction Robot Competition held an award ceremony at Guangzhou Aobao Wuyang Shuzhi Square and successfully concluded. The embodied spraying robot independently developed by Weijian Technology performed outstandingly in the paint spraying competition and won the "Quality Star" award in the Hong Kong division.

This competition is jointly guided by the Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development of Guangdong Province and the Development Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. It is jointly organized by the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Intelligent Construction Industry Development Alliance and the Hong Kong Construction Industry Council, with the aim of promoting the coordinated development of intelligent construction and construction industrialization. It includes various activities such as practical competitions, creative competitions, intelligent construction achievements exhibitions, and intelligent construction industry development salons, attracting more than 40 units and 59 teams of about 200 participants from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

The Hong Kong regional competition will be held on September 29th at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (Sheung Shui College). The competition features events that are fully tailored to the actual working conditions of local engineering construction, with a focus on assessing the operational accuracy, efficiency, environmental adaptability, and intelligent recognition and disposal capabilities of construction robots, comprehensively testing the practical level of intelligent construction equipment.

At the paint spraying competition site, the Weijian spraying robot won the "Quality Star" with its excellent performance of "high coverage and uniform finish": the overall paint film thickness of the wall is uniform and without stripes; At the corners of ceilings and walls that are prone to leakage and difficult to apply, high coverage and uniform spraying can also be achieved. This performance effectively solved the industry pain points of edge leakage and uneven thickness in spraying operations, and was highly recognized by the judges present and the construction companies watching the competition.
